Due Diligence

From findings to supplier checks

Two tools for sourcing and compliance teams: an ownership screen for every plant we traced, and a watch list for plants that aren't exporting yet.

These tools show where to look, not whether a supplier is a "prohibited foreign entity". That depends on legal tests and cost shares we don't assess. Treasury's guidance is still incomplete. As of 5 Nov 2026 it has not said who counts as a PFE, and its safe-harbor tables are still due by 31 Dec 2026.

One row per plant, then the full ownership chain for each, with the source behind every step.

What's still unknown, and which document would settle it

The PFE rules turn on ownership percentages and on "effective control" (board seats, licensing and supply contracts). Where our data stops, this is the document a buyer should request.

Plants to re-check

These Chinese-owned plants aren't exporting yet. Their ownership is already on record, so the moment they start shipping, buyers will know who owns them. Each card says what would change the picture and how to re-check it.
